Hey all,
So just dug out some gravel and seeing this crack. Ugh...the pipe goes under a new concrete slab - so what options do I have to fix this?

What's in the conduit - can you fish it out and put it back? That's the hard part.

Apparently what's typical is using an expansion coupling. If it's 3/4" a flex elbow would work..

Shouldn't be a problem if you can disconnect the conductors inside and slide the conduit off.

Slice off the coupling and replace it using conduit pvc cement. You may need to put a very slight bend in the conduit to relieve what appears to be mis-alignment.

Have a pic of what's above this?

Luckily nothing is in it yet - but will run THWN for two 20A circuit so support outlets, lights, etc. in a screen porch.
Here is the box it is going into. The current wire supports the detached garage. The other larger conduit was put in to support who knows what in the future on the other side of the house (years ago was maybe for a pool but that idea is dead)

So just slice off the coupling on the 90 piece and use a longer "upper" piece and a standard coupling then?
For the mis-alignment I can just heat up the conduit for a slight bend.... sigh....always something.... :)

Except for that misalignment. Are you allowed to use a flexible cover on that thing?. Not that I think it matters. I would guess that conduit is hard to bend. Last time I saw it done the guy used the exhaust on his bobcat. And even then it took a few minutes.

Heat gun and moving it around can make it plenty flexible without burning anything.

They sell conduit repair kits that snap together over the broken section but you would need to remove that section first.

Conduit is very easy to bend you just need to heat it up evenly to prevent kinks. Most electricians use a hot box that's about 2-3' long and fits over the PVC like a clamshell while it warms it up.

For gentle bends, the heat gun approach works well. Just keep moving the gun or rotating the PVC. As @nh_yota said, just watch for kinks. You can fill it with sand to help in that regard.
