I have started nailing up the first layer of insulation board. I will take some photos tonight after I have more done.
I got to a point where I couldn’t do much more work without my tablesaw. My wife and I untarped the trailer and I got the saw and a few other things off the trailer before retarping it.

I was feeling some serious testosterone seeing the tractor lifting a power saw, and a trailer loaded with engines, augers and and more power tools....
...then the sobering image of a package of Huggies.![]()
Door handle/wrench idea officially stolen!
Door handle/wrench idea officially stolen!

I got a bit done today. I drove on my cement floor for the first time today (32 days) and did my first servicing (oil change) I put up more insulation board and I mounted a different handle to close my door. I have put jamb extensions on 4 of the windows. It was windy as all get out today and I am glad to be working inside.

I had handles like these in the kitchen of my other house, I took them with me when I moved out.

I bought the wrenches really, really cheap at a tractor swap meet. Here is what they looked like in my old kitchen.

that a neat idea...might have to get me some old wrenches and do some of my own.
Fflintstone, are the standoffs attached to the wrench or is the whole thing is held togeather with the screws?
Is that a Baghira I see???

Why yes it is, would you like to buy it?
All original, Stock, less than 8,000 Km (5 K miles)
Nah... already got one bike I don't ride enough....
Keep plugging its coming along nice.
thumbup:I have a pole-barn (not as big) and have been looking into the best and least expensive way to insulate. Been thinking of going the way you have done it. glad you posted pics. what are you going to do for the ceiling? I have 12' ceiling and any heat goes into the rafters, so the first is the ceiling to keep down.
Great start keep posting I'm a fan of your barn.thumbup:
Went to Lowes and picked up 12 sheets of 1/2'' @ $12.89 per. 1" was even more. Bottom line you got one hell of deal @ 6 bucks per. and yes being poor ***** but I have so much fun looking for deals and freebies.
Keep the faith brother.
Wiring? Its got to be coming!

In some aspects, our codes here in Washington are worse than kali-for-nuyah. Guess it's 'cause so many have moved up here.....my story.
My shop is temp wired.....waiting for more money to come in, as usual.
It would qualify as a "mess" to some on this board, but I don't have any room since the boat got moved in there....started out as a shop, turned out to be a storage bin. Knew it would happen, but at least I got the bikes out of it! I need to add on, but again, money, and time.
I remember when I could park a truck in there and work on it....
It would be blasphemy to say I have too many tools in there!![]()
