Not a welding table at all, could be used for that...
its a table for laying out type set on a old letter press its called a turtle," small [but very heavy] metal tables mounted on wheels
I Have about 4 to 5 of them here
Jeff
I talked to the guy today. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and grab it this weekend. He's sending me his paypal info so I can send him a deposit.
I WILL use it to weld with. Not big stuff, but smaller projects. My larger welding table is a ***** to move around. This will be more portable.
A piece of antique furniture is a little different than an antique tool table. Even though it's intended purpose was not welding it's still meant to work on. My wife would choke me out if I tried to work on ANY table in our house (antique or not).

Thanks for the heads-up. I contacted the seller, said something about some out of state guy wanting to give him a deposit or some nonsense like that. I told him I could pick it up tomorrow cash in hand and he said he would tell the other guy to piss off. Thanks. I can't wait to get it.![]()

glad you changed your mind, and now I know what mine actually is!
and about you original complaint about no space:
. It was a rainy a$s day in the northeast, but my 2 y/o son and I still went for the trek
. The guy said he was getting flooded with calls, and even though I've had that motivating tactic used too many times to count in the past, I actually believed him. New York City isn't too far away (as well as Philly), and the "hipsters" love this stuff. Only difference between them and me is they would put a fern on it and roll it into their posh bedroom while I'll put my DP on it and put it to work
