Cordless ratchet. Snap on or IR?

Hey guys, at work I use a CTR761A from snap on. I don't like where the battery is because when I go to manually ratchet I can feel the battery flex. I have not had the opportunity to handle the ir r3130 but I'm an ir guy and I'm kind of leaning towards it. Thickness wise, how similar are the heads? Is the IR more fine toothed? My buddy bought a Matco one after I ranted and raved about how much faster I can get things done with a cordless, but it looks like it has a similar battery setup.

I will. Specs say it's 20ft lbs more than the snap on one I use. I'm looking for the red boot that most of the tools come with but can't find one.

yeah, the snappy is a pos...only reason i own one is cuz i got it as part of the 569 bucks worth of free stuff i got from buying a box on the ec plan...and i use the 14.4 volt batteries on my screw gun

The 12V (R1130) is the same size as the Milwaukee if you're looking for a small one.

The R3130 is a large ratchet. It's large as my 1/2" drive air ratchet (109XP), but longer due to the battery. The body is pretty sturdy too. I was able to apply up to 150 ft-lbs of manual torque without issues.

I like the M12. Any bigger and it gets in the way too much.

I like my Snap On but I only have it because I got a smoking deal on it...I got it and immediately thought I will never use this. Turns out I use it every single day.

The milwaukee m12 is what is in my toolbox. Size was the determining factor for me. The set I ended up with I had to repo twice. After the second time, I figured that since the tools kept finding their way back to me, I had might as well keep them.

225 rpm. 54 ft lbs. 4.4lbs with battery. Very comfortable and balanced in the hand. I like the battery placement better than the snap on one. It's the same head as the 107XPA

It's larger than the snap on one I'm used to using. Also larger than the Matco and Milwaukee. But what I like about it is the battery placement. The head is a bit big but if I'm needing to shove it somewhere like that a 1/4" is more suited. I love the trigger. The only way I see the size being an issue is working in wheel wells close to the ground.

I'm wondering how much manual force you can put on the ratchet. That's my only question. The snap on one feels really cheap when I go to break a bolt free.
