I've had this set up for a while now and figured I should share. I wanted a way to store my 6pc. Ryobi 18V kit that made it easily accessible while working in the shop. My solution was to build a board with "Pegs" that matched the stem on the batteries. Set in the bottom of one of the deep drawers, everything is easily accessible with out being piled on each other. I'll have to add-on / reorganize as I've been acquiring more tools, but I have another 20 or so extra pegs that I made when I built this version.

Nice set up for the Ryobi power tools. The pegs are great for securing the power tools. Is that platform mounted onto something that looks like the heavily discounted Kobalt tool cart? Most of mine are stored in the deep bottom drawers found on typical inexpensive CM tool boxes like your pictures. Another option is the discounted DEWALT top chest that has electric ports and height for storing drills and chargers once you get past the high-vis yellow

Their home is in the bottom drawer of the Husky 52" 9-Drawer Mobile Workbench I picked up used on CL. The Blue cart they are sitting on is indeed the Kobalt tool cart, though heavily modified. This is my thread on the Kobalt cart build.

Good idea. I've got the Ryobi tools as well and always have problems keeping them organized. I used the bag until I finally wore it out. Recently I bought one of the new large DeWalt boxes. That works for the ones I take away from the house.

How deep is that drawer? I might have to do something like that...
