How'bout a shot of the whole Cornwell Extra-Long set?

Sure Merk, but remember, you asked for it!

Cornwell WCP17LST
7 Piece Extra Long Combination Wrench Set
12 Point, 3/8" to 3/4" (Full Polish)

Size Length

3/8" 7 3/8"
7/16" 8"
1/2" 9 1/8"
9/16" 10"
5/8" 10 7/8"
11/16" 11 3/4"
3/4" 12 5/8"

Since the tool websites often don't put up detailed pictures of their product, I offer these pictures of the Cornwell X-Long wrench set. It is even harder to check these out if you don't have a cornwell dealer in your area.

I'm very impressed by these, VERY comfortable in the hand.

They remind me of the Mac Knuckle Saver wrenches.

sweet!!!!!!!! they look much like my old matco wrenches.

I agree - Both wrenches I like very much too, although, I looked for a while and could never find a nice set of the Bonney manufactured Matcos for sale. It seems everyone likes them too much and never sells them. :)

Nice looking tools

Let me ask this question it seems everyone likes the longer wrenches, is it for the reach or the torque?

Holy incredibly shiny chrome cornwell wrenches batman! Those things are sweet, the wrenches and the pics:bowdown: I really like the beam thickness of my SK superkrome combos, but I hate the apparent lack of quality control of the modern day SK stuff. This is the first time I've ever seen Cornwell wrenches in that kind of detail, but they look awesome, I think I want:drool: Mind if I ask how much that set cost?

Both for sure, the extra torque just makes everything easier. I wish Cornwell made their X-Long wrenches up to 1" like Snap-On.

Sweeeeetttt!!! I have some older long Snappys - with a Mac and an Armstrong thrown in to get down to 3/8" - that I reach for most of the time, over the standard length Snappys. That extra length/reach is just soooo much nicer to have.

Those babies are beautiful. You should see the detail involved in making those magnificent chrome masterpieces. American made in Magadore Ohio!

The long cornwell's have a squared handle while my standard ones are more round.

It may sound goofy or maybe I'm extra **** about my tools but something bugs me. I store all my wrenches with the open end angled down. Every set (except 1 cman pro mm that I have to get rid of) I have stored like that you can read the size and brand name of the wrench right side up. Other than that they look like great wrenches.

I was thinking basically the same thing. Was there a picture of the backside of the wrenches? could they be flipped over? I didn't get to see all the pictures (crappy internet connection) but the couple I did see looked sweet, (except the backwards angle on the wrenches).

Are you saying that the beam shape on the SAE and Metric wrenches are different? :headscrat Never heard of a manufacturer doing that.

I don't think that's being ****, it's flat out obsessive compulsive. Why would you want such a beautiful head pointing down. Makes it harder to fully admire.

I just don't relate to that. To each their own

Thats not compulsive. It's just that I like all my stuff to look unified. My Snappys face down so every other wrench has to follow suit or leave the box. :lol_hitti :lol_hitti:lol_hitti

Now you want to talk compulsive mybe I should tell you how I color code my ratchets.

I just put them whichever way the need to go to get the sizes facing up. And yes I'm sure the color coding is above and beyond. Those are some nice looking wrenches no matter which way they are facing.

The color coding realy isn't that bad. I have all Matco 60 tooth ratchets (soon to get 88 tooth kits) and the fixed head ratchets have the orange softgrips while the flex heads have green handles. Don't think my buddies don't break my balls about my OCD... :lol_hitti
