Hi everybody,
I joined this week and I mentioned I would post some of my projects.
Here is a car dolly I made to be able to work on one of my corvettes. It was one of my first mig welding projects so the weld is not that pretty but it works.
With this dolly I am able to lift the whole car up to around 2 1/2 feet off the ground.
It's made using square 3 x 3 x 1/8 tubing for the outside and the inner tubing is 2.5 x 2.5 x 1/8 It is fully adjustable to just about any size car.
I had looked to buy one but they were all to expensive. I put this together for around $225 and I found the castors in a scrap bin where I was working.
Enjoy and please comment.
