I’m looking to remove and replace a portion of my concrete floor in preparation for a 2-post lift (BendPak XPR-10). I just had an estimate for cutting out a 15x13.5 foot portion of the floor and replacing it with 6” thick 3000PSI concrete (the size was chosen to correspond to existing control joints).

The estimate came in at $2500 (NE Ohio). Does this sound reasonable? I have no idea what something like this should cost.

Thanks for the replies. Quote included pinning new slab to remaining concrete and wire mesh reinforcement.

I am not positive of this, but I think if you go with a 4 post lift you don't need to have 6 inch thick concrete. Not trying to change your mind about the 2 post lift, just offering another option.

I thought about a 4-post, but decided to go with a 2-post for ease of access for certain components. Lift is sitting in my garage so no going back now.
