So I was just looking around on craigslist and happen to stubble on a year old triple bay mac box with stainless top and the hutch and LED lighting in the hutch. Listing was a month old and figured at the price he was asking its probably gone. Text him and asked if he still had it and if he did what his bottom dollar was on it. Well never heard back till the next day so i figured it was gone. Get the text back and says he still has it. He was asking $4000 so i figure since he has had it listed for a month and still has it i would see what i could get him down to. I text him back to see if he would take $3500, get a text back and says the lowest he can go would be $3750. I tell him i would like to take a look at it before i decide and that i could bring the enclosed trailer to check it out and if everything is good we can finalize the price in person. So i haul the trailer over and take a look at the box, this thing is brand new looking. Has the Mac liners in the drawers and had the hutch keyed the same as the box and everything. So i tell him im interested and it looks to be what im after but im really only looking to spend $3500. He stood pretty firm at his $3750, thinking since i took the trouble to haul a trailer over then he had me at that price. So i told him alright well if you dont get any calls on it in the next couple weeks and want my offer it will still stand. Guy changed his mind once he seen i was willing to leave and said he hadnt had any other calls on it so we settled at $3500. Had to remove the hutch to get it in the trailer since the rear door is only 65" tall and the box was close to 70". Threw our backs out getting the hutch loaded in the trailer and then blew both nuts out getting the box pushed up in the trailer. MAN that thing is heavy!! Havent had a chance to start moving all my tools into their new home yet but im just glad i will have one box that will hold everything. Got the box home and pulled the drawers to just check everything out and everything looks brand new and found a Mac bill in the bottom of the box and kind of figured out why he was selling the box. Looked like he was tring to get out of a Mac bill balance of around 16,000 at one time and was down to around 4,000 now. Just glad i happen to stubble across it and nab it up. I will take some more pictures once i get tools in the drawers.
