First time I fired up my compressor since winter to swap wheels over. Found out I have a slow leak at the drain valve. Most likely cause I left it open all winter.

Either way... been meaning to replace it with a better, more easily accessible one.

What is the size of my valve? I don't know bolt sizes for the life of me. I have a upright 20 or 26 gal craftsman. Oil less one from maybe 6-8 years ago.

Google seems to have a lot of 1/4in ones, but I can't confirm my size. Also what are some popular setups so I don't have to crawl under all the time.

thanks guy!

I guessing it is pipe thread, Best bet is to take it out and match it up at the hardware store or HD, lowes, etc. Might consider putting in a street ell, a section of pipe, and then a ball valve to make it more accessible, and also have any condensation sit in the pipe rather than the tank, till it's drained.

Just remove your old one and take it in and compare it, I think the Craftsman one will fit your tank. I used it on my 26 gallon Craftsman.
