Craftsman 1/2 flex ratchet "V-44374"

Actually looked closer it's. 44974.

No local sears has anything to help me get this one fixed as its no longer on the rebuild list. like most, like my domestic stuff.


Did a search on forum and google and also doesnt show up.
Anyone know where to find the kit number? I have no problem calling a few local old sears once this is known.

Search eBay for 1/2dr kits. You'll need to read the descriptions and look at the pictures to try to find the one you need.

There have been kit lists posted on GJ before, but I'm not sure if any of them had your ratchet model on it. I no longer have access to my copy, so I can't help on the kit number that you need.

Have you asked if there is a replacement ratchet you can exchange it for? At my local Sears, there is a "backroom" with all the broken and yet to be rebuilt ratchets. Perhaps you will get lucky and they'll have one you can swap out. I once exchanged a USA version for a Taiwan ratchet. It broke a few months later so I brought it back. I explained I originally traded in a USA version and would prefer that over the new style. I convinced the gentleman to give me a broken USA handle and a new rebuild kit for it and fixed it myself at home.
