I know people here are always on the lookout for a deal. I just got my Craftsman Club flyer for Mar 29 - Apr 5. (I checked and it is not posted online yet.) In addition to the deals in the club flyer, you will be able to get an extra 10% off in the evening on March 30th due to a friends and family day.

However, I don't think you guys will get that excited about the CC this month. It is loaded heavy with Lawn & Garden stuff with fewer tools than normal. I guess that can be expected for this time of year.

I think for $29.00 you get 5pc long ball end driver sets on this sale as compared to a 14piece standard and metric for about the same money if you simply order the combo set through the catalog! ie. $60.00 for the combined set in catalog.

Here I am wondering do we need hardened and tempered pick and awl set, the last thing we need is scratching up the part the o-ring and such is sitting on?
Same question applies to the scraper set.. (that at $15 seems like a good deal, because it was about the same price for a HF set)

It's incredible! I've been a C-man Club member for 10 years, have my card and have never gotten a flyer. Last year I signed up my wife and both kids thinking between the 4 of us, we would get at least one flyer. All of us have gotten our cards, but never a flyer.

I only started getting the flyer after I bought a lot of stuff several months in a row with my Sears card. If you buy something with cash and no card, they will never know you are a good customer. I'm sure it is expensive to mail out the flyer to anyone who signs up. I'm just glad it is online now.

I might pick up the Klien style hollow shaft nut drivers. I really like the Klien style screwdrivers so I would probably like the nut drivers too.

The regular puny handled picks are also pretty good for a lot less $$. One of them ripped a nuce chunk out of my finger when I was too careless.

And yes, picks need to be hardened and made of quality steels. I have a cheap set I picked up for $5. The picks bend at the slightest of forces.

I have teh puny picks and they work great for me. In fact, i don't think that I'd want the handles to be any bigger....

I need the bigger ones for bigger jobs, like removing coolant hoses. I have the smaller ones...at least what's left of them...I beat'em up pretty bad.

I've had a set of the handicuts for years. I picked them up when they first came out. I can not tell you how much they have been used. They are great!

I'm not sure what size ot style picks you are talking about, but I got a handfull of small ones fom my dentist a few years back. They have done all kinds of stuff and are still in good shape. They come in all kinds of different shapes and lenghts.

Handicuts are great I use the **** out of mine. I have several sets of small picks and have used them extensively as well. I recently bought the big set of 4 Craftys with with the screwdriver handles and I do like the quality very much however I have not had them long enough to tell how much use they will see.

I buy things from sears online and at the stores via credit card (but not the sears credit card) and have gotten the fliers for the last few years.

The Handicut is awesome, it makes it so easy to cut lengths of hose and other items. I just got a couple new ones since one of my relatives went into the garage and took my two Handicuts to use for trimming grapes and then returned them both with busted blades. Thanks. The blades are kind of pricey so I figured just get new Handicuts.

I have that set of large picks and it works well. Yes the small pics dang I stabbed myself once with one of those in the fingertip, I'll tell you you become verryyyy careful with those things after doing that.

I think $30 for any composite air tool sounds like a good deal to me.

But the sears one says it is 1/2 HP, and husky 2/3 HP, all spec aside it might be the same thing inside. The husky spins a bit faster and is $34.99 regular price. I took my husky back and bought an aircat though.

It probably cuts the same or might even be better than aircat since it's loud as heck.

The handicuts are absolutely worth their weight in gold. I used them to slice through my braided aeroquip socketless fuel hose like they were butter. I'm thinking about picking up the four piece plier set with the additional 10 percent discount.

Hm I didn't try the extra 10%, I couldn't figure out the code and I was in a hurry earlier. I picked up mostly the tool that were 50% off, got the 1/2 drive 6pt metric and sae sets, the buck knife thing, a couple of those hydraulic stools couldn't pass that up I wanted a pair since last year and almost bought them when they were 59,99 but now got them for 39,99. Also two of the 19 x 22 flare nut wrenches for 3.97 each, those are great for subaru tie rod ends. Can't remember what else i gues sit'll be a surprise hwen it comes woot1!

I don't really know if you can use the Craftsman Club card online or not. I ordered on-line for pick-up in store. After I got my tools at merchandise pickup I took it to a checkout register and the applied the Craftsman Club discount after I showed them my card.

After 10% and $12 discount, the tap & drill kit is still $15. If one were to buy it in a few days, it'll be $15 after $15 Craftsman Club discount.

I just created an account, clicked on "my profile" at the top of the sears.com website", click on "my information" on the left hand side and it will then give you a chance to put in your Craftsman club number. Then you will get the discount when you checkout. No need to put your Craftsman club card during checkout. I don't think you can do this when logged in as a guest.

The Cman club + 10% off is not stacking, but after calling repeatedly I managed to find someone who was willing to manually edit the price (price adjust) for a handi-cut, gasket scraper set, and 10 drawer ball bearing chest all picked up at my local store.
