Back in the 80's, my father had a collection of Craftsman tools. Older stuff he purchased after moving to Baltimore in the 70's. One tool in particular that eventually vanished was a little hand-held sledge. I've seen them referred to as drilling hammers and as engineer's hammers. This one had that particular head shape, but a wooden handle. Was very smooth on every surface, and had Craftsman stamped (faintly) into the side of the head. Weight was tops...2 lbs.
I've never seen another example of it, and the original has been lost for at least the past 25 years. Wondering whether this description rings a bell for any of you.
