Link shows 49.99. Was it cheaper earlier?

No, $49.99 is the lowest price. You can get the TSC stool pretty cheap, but I haven't heard how well they last. This Craftsman stool overall has pretty good reviews on their website and GJ. I haven't found many stools with a back for less than $50 at any competitors, even on black friday.

Yeah, it figures after I buy two TSC stools, put them together and start a thread about them, that Sears would put their stools on sale. :wtf:

Yeah but Sears *****. I think I read something about that somewhere here.... :D

Comparing the two, Cman and TSC (Traveller), side by side, I believe they are made in the same factory. Just a few minor details separate them. I honestly believe, since I have both now, they will just as long as the other.

I have to overlook the stool and admire your Kennedy boxes. My dad is a retired machinist and has a handful of old brown Kennedy tool boxes. They are so nice!

I was looking at the giant CNC machine myself.

Thanks, my Kennedy is my pride and joy at work. Here are more pics of the box, the machine, and some of the impellers we cut.
It's the newest toy at work. DMG/Mori Seiki 5 Axis CNC

If I had a workbench (Which I don't) I would be all over this, but I did pick up the black Craftsman mechanic seat tonight:thumbup:

These aren't that great. I had one. Bought it on Black Friday 2013 for $39.99. Got it home and assembled it after Xmas, and sold it on Craigslist for $40. I wouldn't get one IMO, not worth it. Cheaply made. Looks nice but that is about it. I've average, 5'9", 180#.

Do you have another stool suggestion?

Was it on sale?

it was about $8, but I snagged it because I had to return a previous order which added up to about $50 and then had $20 in surprise points that were about to expire. Not really a deal, but I had to use some surprise points, so I opted for this. So I had to grab it. :thumb up:

I am going to assemble it later tonight.

I wish I did. I have been unable to find what I'm looking for in decent quality. Most are mail order only unfortunately.

The Craftsman stool was close but missed the mark, the seat was too small, the back was too short, the foot rest was not positioned well, etc. It might work for others but I am willing to spend more to find a comfortable stool.

Had to go pick up a few last night after looking at Hafen Kafer's picture. I had $50 gift card and credit on another. Pretty much got both for less than the sale price. Hard to beat that deal.

I have had this stool for a few years. I have had to repair it a couple times. So today I decided to play around with an old desk chair and it worked out very well. The shafts were the same diameter so this was a 5 minute swap.

You should show up, and say "this is used, I see **** marks", call him a liar, and then lowball him.

Coupon friendly too, added an extension to get it up to $50 , $10 off $50 coupon works.

Plus when I complained about my Tool of the month points they sent me $10, got the Oops email with $10 more dollars.

$20 for this stool? I'm pretty happy.

I wonder if you could convert the seat/back onto a rolling stool? Looks like the cylinder and seat are the same.....makes me wonder.....

It is showing up at 69.96 through craftsmans club for me.
Anyone else see the deal or am I too late again. I am logged in, but not seeing the extra discount.
