I was able to order that, though I ordered the 1st day they were added to the site, as they didnt last long!!

Yeah, that's the last time I saw them. I was trying to place the order on my iPhone and of course was having issues with Sear's site. They actually dropped the price about two weeks ago, but I still can't order them.

Oh well, it is more of an OC purchase than an actual need. I use those large sizes so rarely it just made better sense to get a double box end instead of individual combination wrenches that may see use once a year.

Wow.

Just wow.

The absolute lack of effort in the shipping department is absolutely astounding. Box arrived riddled with holes, missing two wrenches, and I got a bonus 18mm and a car charger for a Nintendo 3DS? :wtf:

I can see why Sears is going into the *******. Can't believe management just lets things like this fly, even though I'm like the 50th person to make this order just on this thread alone.

edit: wow, and their call center in India is super awful. And I have to wait 7-10 business days while they investigate the lost items with UPS? This has got to be a ******* joke.

a fortune. my sears marked most of them down except the 10mm and the 3/4 for whatever reason. they were all 2.47 and 3.47. i bought all they had. also had reversible gearwrench and craftsman pro ratcheting for a whopping 1.47 but only every other size. went back yesterday and they had a few more marked down. sears pricing is very irratic, but im slowing working my way to full sets. :)

OK, I totally missed that page when I was looking at the PDF catalog. You are right however, it's page 313.

Now, where to order these?

Just an FYI, but it now appears that Summit is where you can buy any/all of these tool/wrench pouches as I searched today and many of them came up!

I've ordered a TON of stuff from Sears lately, without a single issue with shipping.... until yesterday. I should have known better than to order an 11mm wrench with the 31" pry bar. Pry bar put a hole in the box and the wrench was missing. Luckily it was pretty easy for them to refund me my money.

I've never had an issue with the shipping until my most recent purchase. The order I recently received from Sears had all my CI wrenches inside except the 21mm. I called Sears and the lady on the phone asked if there were any holes in the box. I told her there was a small hole but not big enough for the wrench to fit thru and all the smaller ones were there. But since I said there was a hole in the box, that seemed like it was the automatic red flag for them to get the shipper involved to find the wrench. She said she could give me my money back or we could wait a week or two for the shipper to search for the wrench. I told her I just wanted my wrench. Long story short, I ended up with a refund and buying the wrench elsewhere. That went from a $5 sweet deal to a $20 not so sweet deal real quick.

Thanks Travisnd. In case it helps, 009-1728 is the 10 piece roll that comes with the Industrial 7 piece locking flex SAE ratcheting wrenches. Yes, I know it's a 7 piece set, but I called Cman Industrial, and confirmed. It was actually an Apex Tool Group number, but the lady confirmed it's the 10 piece 15" w x 18 5/8" L 10 piece roll that ships with that set.

This also seems to be confirmed by some recent ebay auctions, pic attached:

Whats the part number for the locking flex head wrenches??

Metric or SAE?

I currently have the SAE set of locking flex heads and 2 Metric locking flex heads wrenches. Though tomorrow the mail man will be dropping off the rest of my deep offset wrenches along with the rest of my Metric locking flex heads!! :rocker:

I wish they would drop the price of the swivel impacts. They look really nice, but I wouldn't use them enough to justify spending that kind of coin on them.

Anybody get the Industrial Swivel Impacts?

Just got the 20 mm combination wrench today (my OCD is soothed). Got another $5 in SYW rewards too so I'll be getting a couple more. Thanks to the OP for pointing this out!

Unfortunately, none of the stuff I'm buying is on sale. I'm getting it from Summit Racing to complete the incomplete sets I have. My OCD has kicked in and the need to complete these sets is my mission! I'll post pics soon!!:bounce:

The Metric locking flexhead ratcheting wrenches part # are:

8mm - 009-24662
10mm - 009-24663
12mm - 009-24664
13mm - 009-24665
15mm - 009-24666
17mm - 009-24667
19mm - 009-24668

When searching on Summit Racing or Shamrock Supply, just enter the part like this 924662 (8mm) as the part number for example.

I'll post pictures tomorrow night of all these wrenches.

Garage Journal is killing my pocket book. I was originally looking for a set of regular Craftsman SAE Flexy ratcheting wrenches and I stumble on to this tread. Now I see this tread and I never heard of Craftsman Industrial. I assume the quality is better but how much?

I know that I can piece the industrial set on sears.com for a less than summit racing. The two sets look similar. Educate me on the difference.

The difference of the 2 links is that the Summit Racing link is the Craftsman Industrial wrenches that are Made in the U.S.A. The craftsman link is the link to the regular craftsman wrenches that are made in China I believe.

You can still find Craftsman U.S.A. (non-Industrial) sets if you look around...

Our local store has even been clearing out their open stock. That's how I managed to acquire my sets.

EDIT: Kobalt also had these available. Some of them can be purchased from Cripe:

I finally got everything organized over the weekend...:rocker:

Craftsman Industrial locking flexheads ratcheting metric & sae sets and Craftsman Industrial ratcheting metric & sae..

Craftsman Industrial Deep Offset wrenches metric & sae sets..

Luckily I already had these Craftsman stubby sets and didn't need to buy the ones currently on sale, though they are still tempting to get another set!

Just got the confirmation email from the order I placed on Saturday and everything has shipped! Good thing since they have pulled everything from the site!

I wonder if they just pulled it all and scraped it? Probably cost more to ship to store then any profit they made.

They do not work like that. If they have inventory, they ship. Just because something is left in a shopping cart and not checked out, does not mean they hold inventory. More than likely the cart was cancelled out is because they were out of stock.

They have definitely pulled a lot of stuff simultaneously from the site. Time to start watching the outlets.
Darn it, I was still chasing some sockets.

Just ordered the 1/2 and 3/8 drives off of Sears' website. Both were still on there as of 3/16/15. Less than 20$ for both, just had them shipped to the local store for free as opposed to 12 bucks for shipping. Supposed to be here by the 19th.

Over the weekend, while out of town, I stopped at one of the small Hometown Sears stores to see if any NOS was on the shelf. The franchise owner/manager saw me digging and pawing through the wrenches and such and decided to ask what I was looking for. I told him "older U.S. made as opposed to the Chinese sets. He immediately started in on how Craftsman had standards for manufacture, Warranty was the same etc. About that time, I stumbled upon a 12 pc. U.S. made SAE combo set and showed him the metal on the open end vs. the infamous "claw" on the China made ones. He stood there dumbfounded that there was actually a difference in the two then said to ask if I needed any help to let him know as he walked away. As the set was only 23 or 24 bucks, I went ahead and bought it figuring it had sat there that long so obviously no one had cared to dig through the China's to find a much better quality tool. Also found a U.S. made ratcheting SAE set but didn't need them enough to spend 79.99 that they were priced at.
