Looks kinda short, but at least it has adjustable infeed AND outfeed tables, unlike those godawful CM jointers from the 50's/60's/70's
No!

ya know "79" You don't see that jointer all that much I don't think. Thanks guys looked over there and found some good info not sure why Google wouldn't pull it up. Still curious if any craftsman fanatics here know much about them.
Looks like a fine little machine. Is yours a 6"I know it's an old thread, I recently acquired 2 of these, I'm in the midst of building a good one out of the 2.
I did determine that the WT equivalent is the 907 if you haven't determined that.

Just for refence, these are the stands I've found for the WT version, the cast stand is so cool. The angled/steel stand matches pics I've found as the factory as well.
cleaned up nice.Pics of #2, tables look good, interesting to see the machine swirls in the cast iron on them. Badge looks great, and you can see the original color under the indicator. I think I like the aged color better.
cleaned up nice.
Those bases are nice.
Do you have the Guard?
Yeah, Pretty sure Ive seen those.#2 didn't have it, doesn't appear that #1 did in the pic, but he is still going through his Dad's stuff, hopefully we can dig around when I pick it up and find it.
The Craftsman model has the holes drilled and tapped for the WT version of the guard as well, might have a better chance finding one of those, they are really large though...
Yeah, Pretty sure Ive seen those.
Well still better to have it.
Oh, This Guard?

Correct, although I could probably make one similar to the Cman OEM as well.
Will have to see how it plays out.
