Well, after several years I am finally getting this old drill press of mine back in service. It was my fathers, who has passed away since I started this project, and I have always wanted to restore it since it was his and in his shop for many years. It was in very rough shape to begin with, and I have done my best to get it back to something nice. I still need a few parts if anyone has some they want to sell my way, mainly the quill bumper and spindle washer, pinion lock nut and 1/2" motor pulley (or a recommendation on which aftermarket one to get). I also have a JZiggy slow speed pulley and wanted to hear which belts work best with this application.

Anyway, thanks to all those that have helped me along the way with this project, it sure is nice to see it getting close to coming alive.

Yes, very nice!

I'm not sure what the pinion lock nut is. I may have a 4-step cone pulley, but it may not be oe.

@danho... an observation...

Your feed stop bracket is not fully seated onto the quill.

Check this post and a few posts following to understand the consequences. Then, watch Jeff's video in one of those posts.

I'll take a look, thanks for sharing! And the "pinion lock nut" I am looking for is the pinion shaft retaining screw and washer on the original parts list. I'll also respond to your PM on parts.
