craftsman modules on sale again

My 1/4" set was USA, the others China. Going to check the other local stores and exchange if I find more USA in 3/8 or 1/2.

Some people have commented that the box says "Made in the USA", but each individual tool says "Made in Taiwan".

What is stamped on the tools themselves? USA or Taiwan.

I ordered one of each wrench module (1/4", 3/8" and 1/2") with the hope that they would be USA. They aren't, so I'm going to return them unless someone here wants to buy them even though they are not USA made?

Most are now China, and probably all online are China. But you might have a few leftovers in the locals stores that are USA.

Doh, it was in my SYWR coupons so YMMV. There's also SEARS2014 or SEARS5OFF50 you could use for $5 off 50

I wish they listed the sizes included since I am looking for some replacements and this may turn out cheaper. It just says that it included the most common sizes. Why can't they list it?

Good question, that would be helpful! Given that most of these sets are made in China now, I just started replacing with the craftsman industrial singles that are on sale right now.

Well I went and picked up the brake tool module and I'm going to return it. Quality is complete **** and the only thing made in the USA (despite the box being marked as such) are the worse than china hex sockets (which aren't even marked Craftsman and have casting shards on the inside). Should've believed the reviews. I bet the HF kit is nicer than this.
