Went to neighbors farm sale this morning. Nothing I was specifically looking for, just more of a social event.
Spotted these two beauties in a beer flat, and took them home for $5 each.
Been looking for one of these Craftsman Speed Ratchets for better than 5 years, and this is the first one I've ever seen in person.

The Speeder Ratchets don't seem to show up in the wild very often, that alone gets suckage.
Then there's the condition. More suckage.
Then there's the price. Hurricane suckage.

Yup, you scored the trifecta of suckage.

I've been looking for one of those Craftsman speeder ratchets for a while now. I very rarely confer "You ****" status because I don't want to cheapen its prestige and/or detract from the actual greatness of the feat/accomplishment that garnered the accolade in the first place. So, from my perspective, there has to be some real serious merit before I'll dole out the highest honor available. In this particular instance, considering the scarcity of the tool itself, it's condition and the price.....You Officially ****!!!! Yes, YOU ****!!!

Huh - I didn't even know those existed. Any idea what years they were made?

Nice score - very much worthy of a "YOU ****"

As promised, here's the $7.50 Mac roll cab. Nothing special, and had to redo spot welds on 2nd drawer up from bottom, but decent and useable condition.
Probably use it to store some less often used stuff.
