As an update, I did get my T-handles. But not without some hassle. (Surprise!)
I knew these were on clearance so I went ahead and bought them online for in-store pickup, even though I could only buy one set at one store and the other at another store. Figured I would try for both at the first store and if not I would have the other set reserved at the other store.
Well, as expected, the inventory system was wrong and the first store did have both sets. Then it became a hassle to cancel the order for the other store so I could buy them both from this store. After that was finally accomplished, one of the salesmen trying to "help" cancelled my order for the store I was standing in as well. Oops. Then, the real challenge started. I had to argue my way up to a manager because the sales associate would not budge and kept saying that I could only buy them for that price online, even though I had my now cancelled pickup reciept for that store showing the price and my now cancelled pickup reciept for the other store showing the same price. Finally, after getting to a manager, it was easy to get them to see the situation. Then after a price adjustment, I got my T-handles for the right price.
Now I just have to see if they actually do credit me back the online sales -- I'm still waiting for a credit on another sale from over a month ago.
