With Sears shutting down most likely I wanted to pick up some replacements for my thin profiles. They are circa US made. 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2".

Anyone know if they are available anymore? I'd hate to lose the ability to use the ratchets in the future, nothing else like them out there (US made at least).

Thanks!

There were USA kits for a while. They hid those in the back at my local one and started switching out rebuilt ratchets in exchange for USA ones. I think they were replaced by Taiwanese rebuild kits. The USA ones had a plastic switch; the Taiwanese were metal. I grabbed about four of them when the Sears Grand went out about six months ago. They're in the shed, but I'm sure someone will chime in with a very definitive answer. This is Garage Journal after all.

They're great ratchets.

Gearwrench or Matco kit's should work, no QR though.

I have a Husky 72 tooth QR ratchet, but I doubt just the kit would be available from Home depot.

I have had issues getting kits for a 3/8 84 tooth 44995 I believe is the #. I dropped 1 and a 72 tooth off at Sears for rebuild. I was told 3 days or so.
The 60,72 and 84 tooth kits will fit and function in one another.
