True story - my wife went out to get a pizza, which wasn't done, so she wandered into the pet store next door. This caused a bit of an argument. And this was by far the most expensive, biggest pain in the *** pizza of all time, but I couldn't picture life without her now.

I painted the entire interior of the house myself. I greatly underestimated the amount of time and detail - especially all the natural woodwork. But it came out really nice. And it saved me around $10,000.

This is my newest adventure. I am using commercial floor tiles bought at a deep discount to carpet the living room and both bedrooms above the garage. It will be laid in a random pattern. Not for everyone, but we love the way it looks. Also really durable.

This is the house as of a few weeks ago. We are still working on it. Trying to finish the porch, and then landscaping this spring. Then I will feel like we are finally done (remember we started in the spring of 2009!).

Its post and beam style screened porch. A small covered deck out back, and a large open deck out front. It really ties the house together.
