Creeper on RaceDeck Flooring

Alright, just about ready to order (waiting on closing date) my RaceDeck Floor!

Samples arrived yesterday, like them all! That said, I’m leaning towards the Circletrac. I’m in Florida so there is no need for water or snow draining down. I want the Circletrac, boss says she likes the diamond plate.
Going to be all ALLOY in color.

Any feedback running a creeper across both? Generally do all my own work on my vehicles. Have 10’ ceiling, lift perhaps someday.
For now rolling in style on a creeper. Lol

I would imagine that creepers with bigger wheels like the bone rough rider or others with the larger diameter rubber wheels would work better than the lower profile hard plastic or metal wheels

Doable even on free flow but I much prefer cardboard and HF moving blankets.

I use a Bone creeper with the polyurethane wheels. It rolls very easily over diamond and free-flow tiles.

I have the diamond and my creeper rows ok on it. You will love Race Deck Floors.

My bone creeper with large wheels will roll over gravel if it is not too loose. I used it on my old asphalt driveway and it worked great, while my small detailer’s stool with small wheels felt all the bumps. That creeper is almost too good on smooth concrete when you try to get off of it. I have not tested it on RaceDeck but think it would work great

I have areas of coin and others of Freeflow. The creeper runs fine over either, I don't even think about it. Not an issue.

Creepers are not an issue

Best on coin
Their diamond does surprisingly well
Flow through also works ok.


If I were on a creeper daily I would go coin.

Two tidbits I have picked up over the years that apply here:

Things on casters seem to roll a little easier on Circle Trac than Diamond.

Given your location in hot, humid Florida, do yourself a favor and determine how much water vapor is moving up through your slab before you commit to a solid tile. I have seen some pretty gnarly mold issues in garages where solid mats or tiles were laid down on slabs that had chronic moisture issues. Just get a sheet of 10 mil plastic and duct tape a few 3' x 3' squares down around the slab before you move anything in. Leave it for a few days and then check to see how much water vapor is trapped under it.

I really wanted solid tiles as well but living in the coastal plain of North Carolina sort of forced me to go with Free flow. I was working with an existing slab and of course a vapor barrier was not put in at the time of construction. Couple of hundred bucks and 15 minutes of work at the time the home was built would have increased comfort drastically.
