Lowe's has been clearancing them at $14.99 for a two pack. I bought them last week. They seem OK, nothing special.
Are they Kobalt or ?
I got the Crescent version thru Amazon recently with the "coupon" putting the pair at $17.99. I actually think its a really good idea and will be very useful once in awhile, but not really a must-have.
They want 18 bucks to ship though.
Check out Cripe Distributing, they have NAPA branded versions of these pliers for very low prices. I have Crescent versions (in my musky tackle box), NAPA versions at work and Gearwrench at home and even though I've not done a microscopic analysis / comparision I think they are all the same short of the handle / grips. The Gearwrench double X snap ring pliers have saved my *** a few times working on some hydraulic fittings in recesses where snap rings were used to hold couplings / connections in equipment recesses.
