So if the crow foot belongs in the wrench drawer, where does the torque adapter go?
I keep both sets in the socket drawer.

Put them in the "tools used once in a lifetime" drawer

Who knows?
Mine are in the open top of my cart. Well, my metrics are. My standards are in a drawer where almost nothing ever gets used from.

Mine are in my wrench drawer, but now I realize my torque adapters are in the socket drawer. Now I need to re organize the wrench drawer to make room for the torque adapters!

Torque adapters are considered a socket. So just to make it really confusing.....

crows foot

times metric and std.

I use a socket rail for each respective type, which share a dedicated drawer in my road chest. That road chest is purpose built for keeping tools organized when traveling down a bumpy road.

In my shop box, I have a dedicated drawer for special purpose sockets. Some of these special sockets are 1/4" drive, 3/8" drive, and some are 1/2" drive..........So which drawer would I store them in; as all my drive sizes have their own drawers? Rather than spread these special sockets all over the shop box; I conclude that a single, separate drawer is the answer for My needs.... But, they are often found in my road chest instead of the shop box; as they are tools that I would not leave home without. Mine are frequently used; and that contributes to the reasons I store them this way.

Mine are in the "I hope I don't need to use these" drawer.

so, where do the torx bit sockets go? in with the torx drivers, or in with the sockets? the allen bit sockets?

I keep all internal and external torx with the Allen stuff.

Another vote for Wrench drawer, in the back or sides, there is always room between wrench racks it seems.

You can see mine behind my helper there.
And the ratcheting ones on top of the wheel lock box.

Wherever they fit best with your box and your system. Organization is very important, but what they are classified as by being in the "socket drawer" or "wrench drawer" is truly irrelevant so long as they have a place, you know the place, and you can account for any missing sizes. I'm not trying to be a smart allelic, but that's just how I see it.

For what it's worth, mine are in my wrench drawer simply because I had more room in there at the time I set up my toolbox. If I had to move them one day to the sockets drawer, or even the extras drawer (since I don't use them that often anyway) then I'd be a-ok with either of those solutions as well.

This. (Saves me from typing it.)

I keep mine in the drawer with my 4-way offset wrenches, which is separate from my regular wrench drawer.
Basically the drawer I leave open when working on hydraulics.

I left my reply for the crowsfoot, but as for torque wrench adaptors they're in the wrench drawer as well. Close to the crowsfoot set. They don't get used as often and there's not room in the socket drawer

This is one of the stupidest questions ever and one I've wondered as well. I currently have mine in the socket drawer, but they are the first to get moved should the need arise.

Man, now I don't know what to do!! I just picked up a brand new HF 44" Roller and top box tonight and I thought I was going to start moving stuff into it. I read through the first few posts and I was still feeling OK but then someone threw in the torque adapters!!! Now I'm completely derailed!!!. I might as well return the box, I'm soooooo confused.

My complete sets are on socket rails and with my sockets. Individual pieces are in the appropriate wrench drawer, SAE, or monkey meter.
