Down the road, I may make a custom 5 gallon bucket carrier. I have always thought of it and think I can make a really good one.
I would mostly use nonmetallic pipe to hold screwdrivers, nutdrivers, etc. on the inner wall, totally enclosed. I think I have seen seat lids in catalogs, so it would be good for break or lunch. Totally enclosed protects from rain & snags. PVC pipe may be good, as it is light & still some cheaper than metal. Pex too maybe, haven't priced it.
My main question is which pipe/glue would be most compatible. I have used lots of PVC glue but never tried it on a bucket. I've never worked with Pex and the glue for it. I would greatly prefer glue over drilling and doing screws or rivets. Time consuming and adds holes to be sealed.
Thanks for any thoughts.
