cut off wheels

So I need to order some new 3 inch cut off wheels. What are the best ones for cutting steel?

In my right angle die grinder I use the thinnist width that I can find. Usually around .035-.045" in thickness. The thinner wheels have less wheel to metal surface contact and lets you keeps the RPM's up. I usually get them from MSC Industrial supply, But I'm sure if you did a 'net search you could find many suppliers for them.

Best or affordable?

I like norton discs. 1/16" th. discs are great for 1/4" to 5/16" thick steel plate mod. work. i also keep the thinner general cutoff Norton discs for alum or thin bar stock work or for exhaust, bicycle , etc mod. work.\
1/4" collet.

Norton discs are USA made.
