Designed to hold 5 pairs of scissors (request from a crafter) specifically the Fiskars brand ones. But should take any that fit in a 8mmx16mm hole (5/16 x 5/8" +\-)

Design verification progressing. Scissor mount
attachment.php

Was talking through some business plan stuff. Needed to answer a question of what fit between the two options for new equipment I had put forward... But nothing really existed in that space.

So part of my weekends been starting to put together a railcore, a printrbelt and trying to keep it closer to the budget for the ender3 not the railcore.

Yesterdays in the flesh as I still can't get it to render...

Clearly I need to revise the bottom so there's a grid to keep things vertical

Some great ideas here!!! How do they attach to the pegboard?

I run a 2+ piece mount. The pegs are separate from the mounts. Saves that snapping pegs issue every time you want to move them around I experienced with pretty much all the ones I found on thingiverse.

attachment.php

So the pegs are designed to the individual board types, also added the screw and magnetic versions now. Then the actual mounting bracket just slides down onto one or more pegs depending on the amount of weight that needs carrying.

Guess I need to make a relief in the top magnet too... Cracked once assembled. normally I'd open it up a thousandths, but - probably should allow for expansion/contraction...

If the can holder will take a Yetti can cozie, I'd be up for a magnetic version of it... Maybe for some other stuff, too.

I don't think a beer on magnets would work out so well.

That's gooder!

Great thread and interesting stuff! Love the scissors holder. Not sure why I have so many different pairs in the garage but that would make accessing them all a lot easier than a simple peg.

Pretty neat stuff. I've been on the 3D printer bandwagon for about 8 months now. Have you seen all of the pegboard things on thingiverse?

Yup, and put a few there myself. One of my biggest issues was the pegs being integrated into the body - because moving and rearranging had me snap more than a few.

You probably have a good point there...

Tommy
That said the screw base and some good 3m double sided tape was used yesterday to hold 2-3lbs of Nerf blaster up for a non profit I work with... So if that's an option for you...

Screw base would be fine. Can you send me dimensions to check against my can cozie? I'd be in for a magnetic sharpie holder and a can holder...

After loosing my reading glasses I use for QC the next pegboard mount needed was clearly indicated for me ;)

Any requests, feel like I've done too much crafty too little garage related lately? And I was going to work on a spool/bobbin holder for the ladies and their sewing room next...

that works, what does the back look like? great job.

Have you designed something to hold those small tubes of lock tight so they point up and don't leak everywhere?

Back of which?

All have a similar rear profile, square block is my building blocks for the pegboard systems - it's a mounting bracket for the peg base.
attachment.php

The glasses mount is 1/4" or so off the wall so little risk of lens v wall contact.

I was curious to see how you were attaching them to the board. I saw earlier in the thread you and a peg and hook it looked like.

Do you know will this work on Wall Control metal peg board? It accepts all standard pegboard items so in my mind I don't see why not.

Yup, it's a modular system so I can make it fit the variety of pegboard styles. Wall control uses the standard imperial 1" spacing so it absolutely will work. I was playing with it in fusion the other day looking at whether there was a benefit adding the slot into the peg mount. But couldn't find an advantage other than complicating ordering.

Today's probably not very exciting for most here, unless your wife has a craftroom or home office and you need a Valentine's day present.

Also verfied the kozie can holder with the punisher like skull and gears and wrenches ;)

Not so much design today, decided to try a bulk starter pack in some different colors (less durable & expensive plastic too) to try to drive some more sales...

There we go, 300' of 14ga wire, so it holds a fair weight.

Might spools, wire spools, ribbon, rope(?) Sits 3" off the wall so should accommodate most things within reason

Fits up to a 10mm / ⅜ dowel / shaft
