Been busy working on various things, busy chasing failures on printers (break in a wire to thermistor on one, looks like failed motherboard on other).

Did pickup some copper filled filament, seeing if I can get the copper to take on that corroded green patina...

Small hotglue gun holder, cord storage to right, glue storage to left.

Probably post a holder for my basic soldering iron in a few hours. Been a crazy week

For those who've wondered how much weight can a little plastic hold...
attachment.php

That's 2kg hanging, I added another 1/2lb, but it wasn't photogenic and even in the weaker PLA plastic, it held for a couple hours.

So 5lbs seems to be a good WLL for the hooks :)

Tool/tech guys will appreciate this, picked it up for 20$, 250$ 3d mouse (6DOF mouse pan tilt rotate zoom position blah blah blah!) Gotta love kids moving out of college residence after washing out of the cad program sales :bounce:

that's a great price on the mouse!!

I was super excited! It's a godsend honestly, still have a lot of learning and adjusting but it really is like having that left hand pinched down on the model and being able to move, rotate, zoom on all axis's just like you were doing it with your hand.

Just having issues with my left index is part gone so holding it thumb and middle finger - it's hard to get that clean for/aft left/right movement without the angle (which then rotates the model)

attachment.php

Still working on this, need to extend that inch or so above, and add a coupling system. But cable management had been a major issue on my pegboard lately so - needs to be done. USB, power, data, way too much technology up there ;)

attachment.php

Speaking of technology, this is now in beta development. Dimmable diffused LED flood light with some pan/tilt ability. Then a retractable LED spotlight (also dimmable) with a gimbal and roughly 24" of reach for overhead positioning.

Proved it worked, now it's off to a friend to help move the electronics from my DIY monstrosity to something more production friendly that could get UL / CSA approvals. Working to bring costs down from baller toy to more enthusiast friendly range. Friends also doing the app for the cellphone remote from my godawful copy/paste programming designed to show it functions - to something useable.

Kept getting requests for actual pegboard... Can you believe it? This is meant to hang picture frame style. Debating a printed pegboard mounted hangar vs some printed keyholes dropped into the MDF today.

Stabilo boss highlighter holder for the bullet journalling crowd.

And the customer for above also wanted me to adapt the Ikea 300x75 shelf to fit their imperial pegboard, and paint it pink... I had a better solution ;)

For the tool-less masses... Make a framed pegboard with a screwdriver and trip to home Depot.

Takes 4½x½ square baseboard, get HD to cut your panel to size on the panel saw. Head over to baseboard aisle, cut 4pcs of baseboard to match. Install corners on ends, drop pegboard in center, clamp pegboard down tight, install 4 @ #6 x ⅜/10mm screws into baseboard on each corner (16 total) to secure - hang.

How strong are my magnet mounts, this is 4 neodymium magnets, A 10oz / 332ml spray can of silicone lube (new) in the "beer" can holder on my fridge. Options are 2/4/6. Pretty sure I need to look at a relief and add a small section of hot glue on it just to give it a bit of grip...

Stang - like this?
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:612401
Or did you want it to pegboard mount? Easy peasy lemon squeezy as the apprentice says (he's 6, give him a break) either way - and I'm over by Calgary so not much.

NuttsGT! Holy cow Canada Post *****! That took forever! Looks good in the wild though!

Exactly like that to put in the wall. I pmed you

It could have hit the box Saturday after I had picked up the mail. We have a small post office, open 4 hours a day, so it sometimes take and extra day to get something. No big deal.

Thanks.

That's the plan as well as connectors to extend sections further, but definitely needed a starting point to start working out how to make it work nicely :)

Wow, sorry no updates today, that keychain went viral. 270 ordered since I posted it 24 hours ago. https ://etsy.me/2SxCIF7

I'm headed out to grab a couple extra printers...

Over 500 now. Ouch!

So I had to get my build on, the apprentice argued feverishly that he shouldn't loose his office desk. And markers on the desk vs kitchen table is preferable...

So needed to house 3 ender 2's.
attachment.php

Ikea has these lovely glass cabinets.
attachment.php

Ender 2 without the power supply and spool fits nice, designed and printed corner holders, clear 3m double sided tape to ensure things stay put.

attachment.php

Spool holder printed for up on top, power supplies when the other 2 move will get a box, to make them neat and clean.

Now I need to find a 4th ender2 so it's full.

Being all glass, holds some heat in the build Chambers, reduces warp issues. Keeps dust off the bearings... And looks amazing!

Think I'm almost in top of that viral surge in sales... And printers breaking left and right (all new Nast breaks not the usual maintenance issues, it's wierd!)

I'm not ignoring the garage guys really, but other than a minor rejig of the scissor mount to make it work for pliers and side cutters I'm running out of ideas ;)

I did these for scissors so they stack up in a small space, I was leaning to business end down as I hate grabbing the non handle end...

I used to use punched angle for my pliers and screwdrivers, looks like *** though.

I did finally get the pliers mount done, printed, posted to etsy.

Bugnut - have magnetic, screw and double sided tape mounting options, pegboard in 1/8, 1/4" (thin and thick), as well as skadis and 25mm metric.

It's odd I'm not getting any notifications from GJ. Need to look into this.

Thanks to Tommy for the kick in the ****. Between customs siezing Nerf parts (lol, sure they're undeclared gun parts... Morons) missing packages and trying to get through some business plan and business development stuff I'm lacking time for extras right now.

And added 4 more printers since I was last here.

Today I added a 75mm/3" heatgun holder.
attachment.php

100mm/4" hook - holds a kg easy
attachment.php

This is a reamer like drill tool - needed to open up 24 8cylinder Nerf strongarm cylinders by just a smidge...
It's @ https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3538923

And got some new roll holder shots, sorry guys - I sell more to girls with cricuts and scrapbook things...

10x1¾ shelf, trying to burn through this awful gold filament, excuse the color choice. ;)

Designed for 4oz bottles but clearly it'll work for a million other purposes.

Anybody had any contact with AndyL? He had some "life" things to take care of, and a side effect was shipping issues with some stuff he made for me. I'm OK with his explanation of the delays, but lately he's been silent. His etsy site explains the same as what he told me, but said he would be back May 1 nad he has not replied to any of my messages there, either. I hope he's OK.

Update- I got a response from Andy from his etsy site. Everything is cool. I hope I didn't come across as being accusatory...
