Hello Gents,
The skinny.
My place is in Florida. Reinforced cinder block construction.
The inside walls of my garage have the same cement stucco finish as the exterior. So nothing can immediately lie or be mounted flush on the walls. Ceiling is drywall on 2x4's.
I want to install a tool / equipment organizers on the wall. How to deal with the stucco?
I've read 2 options:
1. Run a skim coat of drywall mud over the wall and then sand it smooth. I would still need to use masonry anchors of course.
2. Rig up a layer of plywood (kinda like in a work van) and then mount everything to that.
Anybody dealt with this use and have any advice?
Thanks.
