Agree, but there is still a USB driver needed for it; likely when you load the app you also load the driver. And if you upgrade your operating system or purchase a new computer, you'll often need updates for both - which the manufacturer may or may not provide. Hewlett-Packard is notorious for not doing this with their older printers, for example. It [Depstech USB 5.0MP Borescope] works with an app.
Agree; I have the 10 foot model. You can only get it around one or maybe two bends in narrow ductwork such as my dust collector system.I have a similar one with a 16 foot cable. It works great but the 16 foot cable is overkill, it’s pretty much impossible to snake it down 16 feet unless it is a straight shot.
And gee right in the link I provided is the app, the download for Android,Apple, or Windows 7-10. I'd bet it works on 11 as well. Or with a smartphone,or a tablet. I'd bet a user could find an interface that works well enough on many devices throughout the modern home and garage. I'm pretty sure the OP isn't gonna drag his desktop PC and monitor into the bathroom/linen closet or basement to inspect his tub.Agree, but there is still a USB driver needed for it; likely when you load the app you also load the driver. That's fine if that's what you want to do; more power to you. I'll stick with staying free of PCs, smartphones, drivers, apps, and downloads in general; what I have will always work, and the SIM card in it will always provide me the bridge to transfer images. At least as long as there's USB flash. And gee right in the link I provided is the app, the download for Android,Apple, or Windows 7-10. I'd bet it works on 11 as well.
