UPDATE! This is non garage related updates. Im stuck at home with covid... My oldest had it this week. He lost his sense of smell and taste. Youngest one got it a few days ago. Now this am Ive got it woohoo. Hopefully the wife doesn't get it. She just got thrown into a new role at her work. Its good for the family but its been very busy for her.
The first picture is just a question Id ask the forum. This **** wagon was parked in front of my house. It partially blocked my drive way. Ya I could still get in and out but I thought thats not a very nice thing to do with the neighborhood full of other places to park. A little context, My neighbor passed away around easter. He wasnt the best but he wasnt the worst either. Other than him being nosey and wanting to talk all the time he was nice and took care of his yard. He was in his mid 70s and would still go out side and work in his yard. Cutting down trees, pulling weeds ect. He mentioned several times when he passes that his kid would most likely move in or sell the house. Welp he moved in, the yard looks like trash and now we have these **** wagons coming around the hood at all times of the day and night. A Saturday morning I noticed this truck parked in from of my house. The family an I were enjoying the pool. Some friends of ours were coming over to enjoy the cool water. Would you guys tell the owner to move his truck?
- I ended up going over there in my board shorts and flip flops and asked nicely to move the vehicle. The new neighbor told me he was in the process of moving it. As I was walking back to my property the owner of the truck said something smart. I politely told him theres other places to park in the hood, not only are you blocking the driveway your gonna piss my mail man off cause he cant get to my box. Anyway I know cool starry bra.
My best friend got hitched in vegas. This was late June. Funny license plate we saw enroute. The wife took a photo of it. The kids got a kick out of it. The room one of our friends had was a suite. It was pretty baller got to see the sphere from his room. After the wedding we went to a nice steak house, I think it was called the chop house. It was in some ghetto hotel in old town. There was shady ppl working there when we entered. The "security guard" scanned ids to enter the casino.... He scanned all the woman's ids but not the dudes. I asked him about it. He said were good. Not sure wtf but it came to head later. Towards the end of dinner my wife got a txt from our son. She told me she's going to go call him. There was no service inside the casino. Once dinner was paid for I went to go find my wife. She wasnt in the lobby or casino. I went outside to find a security guard yelling at her whiles hes on the phone. The guy wasnt going to let my wife back in. She wasnt drunk, she was dressed like we just got out of a wedding. The dude dropped f bombs at her. I have no idea wtf was going on and why they wouldn't let her back in. She's a nice woman. She was upset about this guy talking to her. The security guard an I had some words. This defiantly wasnt worth going to jail over. Good thing my wife was there to talk sense into me. After this incident the trip went on as expected.
The beginning of July we got 5 new chickens from a friend of a friend. The original owner couldn't care for them anymore. So we got 5, they're mature and lay eggs. We were able to introduce them without any real issues. As of today they get along pretty well. This summer I decided to add a mister system for the birds. It works automatically via garden hose timer. As I was installing the misters to the top of the cage. I found a wasp nest. Pretty shocked I didnt get bit. I was on the phone when i found them. I thought it was just a fly. Thankfully I realized it was a wasp and killed it with some raid.
