Does anyone know of a brand of wrench rack, or something similar, that really packs the wrenches together? I'd like to get quite a few in a drawer, but would like to avoid just having a pile of them. Maybe something that stores on edge?
I think the wrench racks in this thread are closer to what your looking for .

The Snap on KRA15 series wrench rails have the slots closer together than any other rails I've seen. The box ends usually touch each other depending on the size.
However, if you're trying to store a lot of loose wrenches in a small area and trying to keep them somewhat organized, head to wal mart (or similiar store) to the housewares or office supply areas. There you can pick up small plastic trays meant for organizing for less than a buck a tray. You can then pack the wrenches in these trays by length.![]()

Do you happen to have a link or picture of what you are talking about?
do you want to be able to take the rack out of the drawer?
