Dang, I have been trying to find one of those on clearance around the Twin Cities with no luck. Not quite worth a drive to Madison though.

These were $229 a few days ago
I've got a crappy Sear's 10" I'm tempted to replace it with this. Is it worth it?

Any chance this is listed online anywhere at this price? Some of the lowes around here still have some in stock. I could try a price match.

I will have to run down and check my local store. That price is lower than the beat up saws they are trying to sell on Craig's List.

This will be hit or miss depending on the store, I believe.

This is a normally stocked item, but they brought in extra units before Christmas. One of my local stores had some of the extra, unsold Christmas stock marked down, but it was a while ago. I haven't seen any at my local stores for several weeks.

Sounds familiar. My store brought in a bunch of Sawzalls before Xmas and several are still sitting in the clearance section for ~$75. They're either 12 or 13A too; fantastic price for a quality recip saw but I just don't need one.

Dang it! I just bought one for $180 and thought I was getting a great deal. This price, plus 25% off HF coupon!?

YES!!! Needed to pick up some lumber, so I decided to take a look at the miter saws just to double check that I hadn't missed them last time I was here. Nope, then I looked up at the top shelf. After straining my eyed I could swear the box said DW715. Called the tool guy over. He checks the SKU. Nope, that comes up at $219. I ask him to double check, and they had the wrong SKU for the 10" on it. Your right, that is $149 he says!!!

No Harbor Freights here, so he wouldn't take that, but I'm glad to get it at $149!!!

I hate Dewalt but at this price I may break down....

If you hate it, you'll probably break it to reinforce your hate. Why throw away money?

$149 is cheap, but I'm holding out for a sliding one.

Anyone have a SKU?

These are not necessarily showing up online though. I had checked almost the entire Twin Cities metro area online and found nothing showing in stock. And they still show as $249 online.

Guess I'll have to stop in and check tonight...just have to wait for the 700,000 people that are in Seattle for the Seahawks rally to clear. The store on my way home from work is right next to the stadiums where a huge rally is happening.

Bought some other stuff to sell on EBay so pretty much free.

Just a heads up. Those 12" dewalts throw dust around like crazy. With my 10" I can hook the shop vacuum up to it, and barely make a mess inside the house. Just dont bring it up with my wife, she got pretty pissed after I finished the staircase. I had to borrow a buddys 12" since the treads were so wide and after doing the trim in several rooms of the house with 10" I figured how much worse could it be. Turns out, quite a bit.

The extra capacity is nice when you need it though

No dice at one local store, only had the 716 model which is the double bevel. Inventory checkers say there are no local stores with it.

Thanks, but not at my lowes... While you can just barely make out the model number, it doesnt clearly state dewalt and they wouldnt go for it. :(

Just stopped at my local HD. It wasn't displayed anywhere around the other miter saws but looked on top of the shelves in the next isle over and low and behold one DW715 all by itself. Priced checked it at $149 and out the door it went.

Why would they turn it away? It clearly says DW715. I would have asked to speak with a manager. This is a great deal on that saw to leave empty handed.

Anyone have luck getting Lowes to pricematch a shelf tag picture or receipt picture? Haven't found a DW175 at local HD, but they have them at Lowes.

My store had at least 5 of these overhead but none on the floor. Confirmed $149.99 but it took FOREVER for them to close off the aisle, harness up as if they were about to solo El Cap, and get the forklift in there. I finally had to go before the process was complete, they're supposed to hold one for me.

They are out there and yes it does take some extra effort......But that is why we are all here on GF....

I believe the DW715 is $299 at Lowes :willy_nil
