I killed my ¼" impact driver, the 885, recently and needed to replace it.

With trepidation I followed the link worried I paid too much at $91 for the 887, but relieved to see I paid less.

Yes, ebay search. I got the impact driver and it appears new, works great. When I looked in my Purchases I noticed the sale ad was gone and the seller as well.

Milwaukee prices for the batteries are up across the board at HD, but they’re running the same DeWalt promo from last year where you buy the 6+4 starter kit for $199 and you get a free tool. I picked the 6AH FlexVolt battery and returned the starter kit. Wound up paying $88 for the FlexVolt battery.

I have that one and the design is cumbersome and less flexible as the ones where the extension tubes slide into each other.

Nevertheless great price indeed.

Acme Tools has good pricing on the Dewalt 12v line including batteries as well. Thier promotional offers are generally pretty good including the ones that include the starter kit promotion. Worth a look.

I like the new 12v ratchets, and with their 12v pricing I kind of wish I wasn't so invested in red.
The free starter set promo going on is hard to beat.
