I don't seem to use it often but when you need it, there isn't usually another option. I bought the electrical box attachment from Harbor Freight and it's a great way to cut the holes for new electrical boxes in drywall. Loads easier than doing it by hand if you're not a frequent drywall cutter.

I got me one coming, but I don't know, l was on the fence. Only 2 Ah battery too!
Do you guys find these things very useful?
Up to $169.00 now too though.
Just to be clear - I don't think that kit comes with a 2.0Ah battery. I believe it comes with a 1.5Ah kit battery (without the charge gauge). That's what's pictured and what came in mine.

That's a good price though, and the kit battery is enough for small jobs. I only use it occasionally but those on occasions it's the only thing that will do.

Any deals on the 20v BL grinder? At this point I'm tempted to try the BL Ryobi - I have the first brushed and flexvolt BL DeWalts, but use a brushed Ryobi as the wire wheel beater. The goal is to have one grinder for each disk type, and I normally only use the biggun for slicing which leaves me 1 grinder short :D

If you mean the DeWalt grinder, don't get the 20V Dewalt grinder if you have serious business to do with the tool. Getting the 60V Max version is the only way to go. And it's pricey.

I own at this point probably close to 20 DeWalt grinders. The DCG418 remains my favorite, and for good reason. I own a couple of their 20V grinders and they're not super impressive, though the FlexVolt is okay.

However, the one 20V that's a standout is the little-known DCG413FB. It has a flat head for narrow-access positions, which turns out to be surprisingly useful. You wouldn't use it for really heavy material removal -- use the 418 for that -- but it's an excellent addition to the tool rack alongside its 60V siblings.

I know, I have one, but I don't need it for everything lol. Almost scary how fast it'll slice.

Wow, that is neat; I've never seen that in a store before.
It's a weird one. DeWalt doesn't seem to advertise or promote it at all; it's never sold in any store I've visited, and even doing a Google search for "DeWalt 20V flathead grinder" doesn't always pull it up.

That said, it's quite useful.

Has anyone had any luck finding a storage option for the DCW600B compact 20v cordless router, other than tossing it into a Dewalt carry bag? I'm a junkie for the injection molded plastic cases but the DCW600, like many other tools, doesn't get a nice plastic case any longer.

To make matters worse I would also like to keep the plunge base and the dust adapter with the tool.

I'm starting to think a Tstak case and custom cutting the foam to my liking is the only option.

Awesome, looks like now they match sold/shipped by Amazon, thanks!

HD has always had no issues price latching a legitimate website if you can show them at the register. If you do the price match function on their website they make you include the shipping cost. They won't beat the price of the tool only. Lesson learned, always price match at the register and not ahead of time using the chat function.

Caseling store on Amazon is my go to. I searched their store and there’s nothing specific for this router. But it’s easy enough to search for the inner dimensions and add foam like you said.

I’ve lucked out a lot with them making cases specific to the tool I have. But I’ve also bought other cases based on the dimensions and added foam.

Yeah pretty sure you wont find a plastic blow molded case for these or many modern cordless tools.. Most of the tools, even in kits these days, don't use those cases because I am sure the vast majority of people do not like them and lets face it saves them money on not having them made.

Its a wood working tool, make your own case for it out of wood. Like one of those really nice liquor bottle cases they used to make.

I have mine in a Tstak ,I didn't foam anything and I was able to fit my DW cordless random orbit in the same Tstak, neither travel often but,I've not had any issues.

So I bought the router (at Home Depot, on a price match and a 10% coupon) together with a Ryobi bit set. It really works well, I am very pleased. I need to hunt down the base.

This is a good deal. It's pretty much the replacement of the DWAMF120SET which was being sold for $35 at HD. The case is nice as it fits on top of a TSTAK and also can have smaller ToughCase+ (small ToughCase+ or medium ToughCase+) attached on top.

I have the new sealed head ratchet with swappable anvils on my watchlist and notice it dropped down to $249 today from $349. There is also a coupon for $20 off bringing it to $229. That is for the kit with an oil resistant Powerstack battery and the charger.

i have the older and this new design is interesting. But if I remember correctly mine had 90 ft-lbs and this one is 75. That would matter to me because one of my uses for this is to put lug nuts on. I typically run it up to the 90 pounds and tighten the rest with the torque wrench.
