Damn I didn't get any 10% off. How do I get these emails lol.
Take a look at ACME TOOLS and a few others like them (CPO for example). I've bought a fair amount of Dewalt through them over the years.

Acme has the DCG418 plus a 9aH 60v battery for $229. CPO has the DCG418 plus a 6aH battery for $215.

You can often get another 10% off at either place for registering with them.

Especially since the 9ah is the strongest battery DeWalt makes, bar none.

They actually have a 15ah flexvolt, as well.

But larger capacity doesn't always mean higher current output.

This is true, but I have a hard time believing that the 9AH provides significantly more current than the 12 (or 15).

For sure, however, the 60V batteries provide more current than any of the 20s. I have, for instance, a 20V DW metal-cutting circ saw. On 1/4" plate with any 20V battery it will stall; with a 60, it's no problem.

60v vs 20v doesn't matter. It's all about the cells and configuration

Bigger than 9ah is too big for hand tools. That only works on the leaf blower and a hedge trimmer type things.

I love the 9ah 60v on my DCF899 impact wrench and especially with my DCS575 circular saw. 20v 5ah or 6ah just doesn't have enough umph for me.

Watch torque test channel on YouTube.

Same channel shows the Milwaukee 6ah HO performs slightly better than a 8ah HO. It makes zero sense, but clearly shown in the testing

If I had to guess, the 6ah uses two rows of 21700 cells and the 8ah uses three rows of 18650. That would make some sense.

I have no idea how good of a deal this is. It's the smaller 20v saw.

Excellent deal. It's a beast. Anything you can fit in its beak, it will cut. Rarely do I go full bore on the trigger to try to save the blade.

McM has a coarse pitch blade for it. With that installed, it rips through 1.5" solid stock in seconds.

I got it bare for $150, the extra 4ah for $19 seems like a great deal.

I haven't seen it at that price for a long time but I haven't been watching either, seems like a price from 10 years ago.

Beware of the fakes. Dad got two off ebay. Seems there are more fakes than real ones, and the more they charge whilst still being below MSRP, the more believable they seem.

Are any of these good deals? Don't know. But passing it along. Note the article linked below is sponsored content at the NY Post so take it with a grain of salt. (And just to be clear, I have nothing to do with the article, I am just passing it along in case anything is worthwhile.)
