I can confirm the same. I've posted about it before. I used the Milwaukee's for years, and still have a lot of luv for them, but have had to replace the anvil assemblies several times each, enough so I keep spare new ones around. I've always chalked that up to me breaking stuff free and tightening with them, which Milwaukee expressly says not to do, but honestly I don't have time or a use for a cordless ratchet if I can't do that with it at least up to 100 ft lbs or so.
I knew right away the Dewalts just feel stronger (notwithstanding that they actually are considerably stronger just in their ratcheting in ft lbs), and that's proven out in the almost two years now since Dewalt finally joined the cordless ratchet club and I first got my hands on one of them. I since added the 12v long-reach too. The Dewalts are definitely my go-tos and I've put them to a lot of use breaking free and tightening without any issues (yet). I don't even use the Milwaukees all that much any more.
