The funny thing is, you can order all of the special edition parts for the saw at similar prices to the normal 500i............in theory you could build your own from a donor saw.
I think theories should be tested. I suppose they'll want a SN to allow you to order the parts though. I suppose if your dealer was inclined they would let you borrow the SN of their collector piece.
