Geez, Dude, if you don't believe it, Google bleach and urine, It should keep you busy for a while.I wasn't suggesting using toilet bowl cleaner on the urine spot. I was merely pointing out that bleach is used in a product that can be mixed with urine. If it's a huge issue, then Clorox is tying their own noose and walking to the gallows.
Nor did I say to dump copious amounts of bleach on the floor. If the OP has any doubts about how much to use, he can follow the link from the CDC I posted above about cleaning rodent messes.
the problem with cats is they don't just eat the bad animals,, they kill everything else that moves, pretty soon i will not have any lizards and songbirds. imo.The immediate solution to problems is soap and water, possibly with scrub brush and pressure washer.
As for bleach, it will liberate chlorine gas if the pH is dropped (ie exposed the urine). Keep the door open and it probably won't be that big a deal ( for heavens sake, it is smells open door and leave).
Long term solution is cat.
Now let's get back to arguing, err discussing, tourque wrenches and screw drivers
i will build them a little bathroom with a tiny flushable toilet,,, i wonder if i can find one of those self closing toilet seats so the female rats are happy?Well, once the cleanup is done make sure to watch some YouTube videos on how to potty train mice, so this mess doesn't repeat again!
i would like to say,, pretty much did that and those stains are into the concrete,, not as easy as it sounds if you want the stain to go away. using the enzyme stuff to see how it works. For the love of all things- it is a concrete floor in an empty shop.
Get the garden hose rinse it down a bit, if it doesn't wash away use a scrub brush or even just your push broom to agitate it a bit and rinse it again.
This thread has more time invested in it than time it would take to clean it up.
