DIY Kitchen remodel, cost?

Good DIY projects did it twice, 27 years ago after moving in and again 5 years ago. If you are really ambitious make your own cabinets, nice to have table saw and router.

I’d add a track saw as well as they are awesome in accurately breaking down sheets of plywood.

Plus a jointer, planer, wide drum sander, shaper and dovetail jig

A 10' slider, widebelt, hinge borer, couple shapers and a spray booth wouldn't hurt.

And clamps. Lots and lots of parallel clamps. A few pocket screws doesn't hurt either. lol

Ah yeah I forgot to mention the pocket hole machine.

I spent $13k 10 years ago, but $8k was just the granite, only added 1 cabinet, opened up a wall, reused all the remaining cabinets (painted) no new appliances, they still all work fine.

I'm happier and happier with my granite supplier after hearing some of these prices...

Kitchen remodels have always taken longer and cost more than I wanted to spend.
