Doing a job the other day two tool thoughts came to mind that would have helped.

1. A shorter 3/8 speed. My kobalt on was about 4" too much in the way.
2. Ratcheting 3/8 spinner handle. I suppose I could use a 3/8 drill bit gismo to put in my ratcheting screw driver but would rather have a one piece unit.

So does anybody sell these tools?

How about a 3/8 to 3/8 ratchet adapter? I have an old Mac 3/8 spinner handle.

Thanks

Perhaps a 1/4" speeder with an adapter would be in order.

I have a SO ratchet adaper that I can use with a breaker

bar or speeder, if that answer fills the bill. Refer to SO's

online catalog. I'm sure other tool providers have similar

items.

I have a 1/4 speeder. Seems it would have been to long as well.

For the job needed im now thinking of a 1/4 ratchet adapter, and a 12 point 13mm swivel socket.

The 3/8 ratchet spinner was made by Proto in both 3/8 and 1/2 drive. I thought about getting them off ebay as they show up, but them seem to be in OLD condition. I don't think anyone makes them today. I only knew that Craftsman and Proto used to make them.

I think I found my solution. Total spent $10~

$3 chinese hdx ratcheting t handle
$6 12 point kobalt swivel socket

Then use a hex to 1/4 adapter, then a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter, a 1" 3/8 extention then the swivel socket.

Ill probably end up taking the short extension out as the hex shaft extends 3-4" out of the t handle.

Actually it doesn't lol. There's a hex shaft that inserts into the t-handle. The hex shaft locks into place via the black collar on the t handle. Then that hex shaft has the bit holder on the end, thats where the magnet is.
