I can think of 3 times in the last year where having to be would have helped. Sadly I do not have such tools and had to cobble something together to make it work.
Some brands work better than others when getting into super tight recesses. For old school Euro MacPherson strut mounts, the best fitting deep offset was one that I bought eons ago, in a set from HF for the princely sum of $9.... for the set. Of course I could watch that wrench rust in real time. I now have that size in Snap-On. Not as good a fit, but I don't need a tetanus shot to use it.
Like a lot of other tools that might be stashed in the bottom drawer of the tool chest, you never need them,,, till you need them. Not sure if I've ever used mine, but if that day comes, they'll be at hand.
