I got a used 30 gallon, 6HP Craftsman oil less compressor for general home garage work, I went to Sears and I saw they have a red $20 air compressor filter and also a $10 self oiler (inline). It should trap and Remove Harmful Water Vapor and Debris Particles from Compressed Air Supply.
I will basically use an old 1/2 impact wrench. Since the wrench and the other tools are used, I feel I am wasting 30 bucks on this stuff. I read the reviews on the oiler and they said negative things. I am also debating whether I should install the in line filter. I need to get some extra pipes since the tank is to big and cannot accommodate this filter. Does anyone have any opinions on these filters? I saw Harbor Freights had some, but they look cheap. I tend to buy in impulse.
