I use mine a lot, and even installed a copper line to support a dryer/regulator setup with drains. Typical uses include: blowing out small appliances (PC, roomba, upright vacuum), blowing out bathroom ceiling vents, blowing out dryer lint area, blowing grass and debris from small engines, inflating tires, applying Woolwax undercoating, removing pesky lug nuts, painting, air chisel for anything that needs to be separated or destroyed.
The allure of battery or corded impact sounds good on paper, but for me, that would be about 10% of the use...I'd still want compressed air for the reasons above. Plus batteries die after a while, but my $50 air impact could sit in a toolbox for 10 years (oiled before storing) and work perfectly.
