It mechanized the formerly difficult process of neutering bulls...it only required one person to slide this under there and turn the crank.
Still required 25 people with chains wrapped around trees and fence posts to hold the bull down, though.

Just looks like a tiny roller mill to me. Probably for crushing grain before testing the moisture content so you know when to go combining.

It's for crushing the fingers of thieving farm hands. I second the notion that it's for crushing grain/corn. Probably most likely corn.

I don't know what it is.....I can't figure out what the wooden rollers on the outside would do on a grain grinder.

I just saw one of those on that picker show. Years ago the collars on shirts we detachable. What you have there is the machine used to wring the water out and put a nice crease in the collar. Basically you wash the collar, fold in half and run them through the wringer and then let them dry. Then button the collar back on the shirt.

Those rollers are adjustable for gap right?

Seems like an awful lot of bare iron for a wet process... Not saying your wrong, but I'd guess some rust stains might go along with it...

I think the pasta maker is the closest thing I could find... The wooden rollers make most sense as guides for th pasta dough .... Thank you everybody
