Last week a 4 meter workbench, the inverter is easy to transport on site.

Today and yesterday aluminum welding, good ventilation is important.

Poorly self-taught stick then tig and mig (flux core). There should be equal attention to ox-acetylene, stick, tig and mig welding.

Working industrial maintenance we stick weld all the time doing repairs around the plant.

Fabrication in the shop is mostly done with MIG. We use 7018 rod in a Miller unit almost exclusively.

All the "boilermakers fathers" commenting in this are way off. I'm a union boilermaker, and we run EVERY process on a regular basis. If your kids are stuck doing a single process in the boilermakers, they probably aren't skilled enough to have papers in the others. Sorry.

We just did a job rebuilding a tow truck bed. The whole job was done in the parking lot with a Maxstar stick welder and some 7018. Couldn’t fit it in the shop so the stick welder was the answer.
