A friend of mine found this mystery handle to an unknown tool. All we know is that the manufacturer Bahco has nothing similar in their catalog. This has become quite the talk of Internet and I forward it to all you handy people out there that might have a guess.

At first glance I thought it was a dummy pedal. Although I've only seen them with full threads.

If there's no part number on it, it's got to be part of a tool like a right angle handle or a grip for some specialty tool.

I'd like to see the chrome end, from the end.

thanks for replies. I'll try to get a pic of the business end of it. There is no S/N printed.

I agree with possibly a file handle, or a handle used to hold xacto knife type blades.

Alright here's the tool end. Doesn't add much unfortunately. Might work to crush garlic? :)

Looks like a handle of some sort, does turning the threaded collar push the angled disc into the plate and force them parallel? If so that looks like this could lock it in a recess or in a pipe.

Looks like someone clever took something shiny and banged it into a handle of a Bahco trying to break th internet. You can see the dimples in the bench where it took place.

I'm kidding of course, in for info.

This one is lasting far longer than most. I know Bahco is SNA now but I wonder if Monte has taken a look.

Such amateurs....

It's a side handle attachment for heavy duty vibrators. One came with my wife's ********....but we don't use it....I'm man enough to handle it.

I actually looked on the Bahco site....couldn't find it.

But I'm going to speculate it holds a blade or tool of some kind.

The knurled knob holds the device.

Notice how the shaft is 'flat'? That implies what ever it holds must maintain it's position relative to the handle.

Chances are there are several 'attachments' available.

Keep this thread active long enough and Bahco will hear about it even if nobody writes them.

Isn't that how the interwebs works?

It's a removable handle for something. The round end fits into something and the washer is tightened down to hold in place. For what I have no idea.

Look, if you're going to try to BS someone, know what you're talking about 1st. Everyone knows the Ambassador class engines don't have Chambers coils anymore.

Actually......The Banks kit for the Ambassador refit added the field modulator for the dilythium crystals concentration injection system. I think that handle is for the field array adjustment.

Dont u guys read the NCC-1701 updates?

Engage open end of combo wrench on shaft, tighten collar, ratcheting end goes on fastener, and you have essentially a pass through ratchet with extension.

Good to know before I head out to work today that the internets have been repaired thanks to FigureItOut. :)

I didn't think anyone was going to get this one.
