I have not built models for three years as i wanted to have some fun with garden tractors. I do think now I might go back and build a few more models .

New Cab in Action Video . Here is the last snowplow video of me in the new hand built cab. I am happy how it turned out and it is very cozy. Deb posted another new video today of the little Steiner/Deere pushing snow for the last time.

Todays new video shows about 30 of my tractors and my ten trailers in action. This is three years of total enjoyment in my workshop peacefully puttering away. Not sure what this year will bring for new projects but I will sell a few tractors and probably buy a couple more . I still often think about a garden tractor with tracks as a future project. The Cat tractor might get converted to half tracks this year. This year I could possibly go back to building models again too now that I built most of the garden tractor projects I wanted. One thing is for sure my little workshop will not be empty. Thanks for letting me share my projects on this great sight .

Thanks , todays new video gives a idea of why I love tractors and equipment. I still enjoy our frequent visits to the farm and being around all the equipment and the neighbors and their equipment. Riding around the backroads in Central Michigan looking at crops , farms, and tractors is still very relaxing and very enjoyable. We did not have a welder on the farm but the neighbor did . I used to dream about buying my first stick welder. I actually bought my first welder in the Army in Mass. I built three dunebuggies in a rented garage . I loved that welder. The rest is history, ha,ha. Working in my workshop I am always thinking of the next trip to the farm.

Counting the days to get back in the workshop . 20 below zero this morning and plowing snow again. Just added a new video this morning showing our snowbanks .It has been a mild winter so far with just 90 inches of snow but you can see the snowpiles are adding up .

I really miss Don and seeing all his projects . I used to follow him when he had his website when he was building all his models and tractors. I dont think he has a Facebook page anymore. He was a real craftsman.

I used to live about 12 miles from Don and would see him around town. Since I moved I haven’t seen him. I think he posted on another site that he was returning to his love of creating small working models.
