Whatever I need to do around the house. I figure if I have to drill metal, I can rest the drill press vise against the fence… or just pull the table off if I have to drill metal. For steel or woodworking?
That looks perfect. It will be a huge upgrade over what I have… which is basically just a board. Sometimes I use a bar clamp as a fence…For the price I don't know how you could go wrong with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KL1HVZF/?tag=atomicindus08-20
Rockler and woodcraft have some nice ones as well, but seems expensive compared to the WEN
Thank you sirTHAT is an elegant solution!
Thought I found the jackpot / Just learned; I am hunting for one! What is a good factory made drill press table with an adjustable fence?
It is for a bench top drill press.
That'll hit a new high bar in the arc of shameThought I found the jackpot / Just learned; I am hunting for one!
Is it a metal vs woodwork thing? I'm with you, I don't even know how I would use a fence, but I'm purely a metal guy. My drill press won't even spin fast enough to drill a piece of wood!Makes me wonder how I've owned more than a dozen DPs and none of them ever had a fence.
